This round table organised by the EU4Business Secretariat gathered together representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, EU Delegation to Armenia, EU4Business implementers in the country, as well as partner banks and other international organisations to take a look at the achievements of EU4Business over the past two years, discuss the lessons learnt and propose a way forward for this important initiative supporting SME sector in all six EaP countries.

The round table brought together 32 participants, representing all the stakeholders of the EU4Business initiative in Belarus, including the EU Delegation, Ministry of Economy, all the implementing organisations in Belarus, SMEs and BSOs, and intermediary banks.

The EU Business Climate Report Azerbaijan 2018 was launched during the recent EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum. The third business survey was carried out by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), with support from the EU. The survey aims to assess the current conditions for doing business in Azerbaijan, highlighting key reform achievements and remaining bottlenecks. 

Olga Radinovich is the General Director of Reabilitimed, a Ukrainian manufacturer of orthopaedic and medical products. Her company had been wanting to invest in new equipment from Germany for two years when she heard on the radio about EU4Business SME loans through the German Ukrainian Fund (GUF).

This publication is produced by an EU co-financed project “SME Development and DCFTA in Georgia” implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It presents the project’s achievements in 2017 and showcases project’s flagship initiatives that include Export Development Strategy and Business Clustering in furniture, apparel, film and ICT sectors.
