The Business Support Centre in Dnipro, with the support of the EBRD and the EU4Business initiative, is organising an information event for SMEs on 19 April, which will present European SME opportunities under the EU programmes Horizon 2020, Cosme, and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
The event, which is free, is aimed at SMEs, BSOs, experts and other stakeholders. The deadline for registration is 16 April.
Key speakers include:
-Alessia Melasecche Germini, of the META Group, a leading international investment and advisory group, with an innovative, integrated approach to macro and micro scale development. The speaker has 15 years of experience in exploiting research results, raising awareness of entrepreneurship, and developing a policy of critical analysis of economic factors in the market, and assessment of business ideas.
-Stella S. Shapoval, H2020 National Contact Points Coordinator, and Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and European Integration Department, Head of Division for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
-Olena Fesenko – Coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, Europe Enterprise Network.
Representatives of the Cosme contact point at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, consultants on drafting project applications, as well as Ukrainian SMEs with a positive experience of participation in EU projects are invited to participate in the meeting.
The Dnipro Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
