Presentation

The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a joint initiative between the European Union (EU), its Member States and its six Eastern neighbours: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. The EaP was launched in May 2009 to encourage political and economic reforms within the six Eastern neighbours as well as cooperation as they move closer to the EU and build sustainable economic development. And in today’s challenging economic environment, building a sustainable economic future has never been more pressing.

How do we do this? By promoting new technologies, boosting modern production and trade, and improving the business climate to attract more investment in high value-added production sectors are the best ways to do this; bolstering economic growth and creating jobs.
